The reviews for Alchemist's Potion, are coming in.... and they're great!
Alchemist’s Potion is not your typical love story. ...Julian’s interesting solutions to King Henry’s demands made me laugh out loud. Phillipa’s obvious caring nature added a great deal to this book. I loved the way she stood up for the women in the story, whom she felt were abused by the men’s rampant sexual needs. Alchemist’s Potion is a poignant historical tale that will delight readers.
Thanks to Amelia, reviewer for Joyfully Reviewed.
Alchemist’s Potion is an intriguing tale which explores the medieval world, the nature of alchemy, and the deepest layers of interaction between humans. I think every reader will be enraptured with the story immediately, as was I, and so impressed with the author, Bonnie Hamre, as to seek out her other books!

Many, many thanks to Annie, reviewer for
The Romance Studio
It is hard for me to say what part of this story I liked best, the romance, the historical
accuracy or the study on how people react when extraordinary things happen. Ms. Hamre does
a fabulous job of keeping within the setting of the times with her dialogue and attention
to detail. The love story between Julian and Phillipa is realistic, with the pair coming
together first in physical attraction, then emotionally. I thoroughly enjoyed this story.

And Michelle at
Fallen Angels gave it 4 Angels, saying:
Alchemist’s Potion blends court intrigue, passion, and the quest for knowledge into one
sexy story. Julian is one of the most conflicted characters I’ve ever read about, with
his expansive abilities, his fear and his low level of self-confidence. He is, however,
charming and endearing as he muddles through the notoriety brought forth by his potion.
Phillipa is a strong woman trying to make her own way in a time of hard living and a
regent with a long memory for duplicity. Bonnie Hamre will win you over with this tale!
Thanks, Michelle!
