There's an interesting story behind this book. Each of the authors met online after working with a publishing house that shall remain nameless. We were each discouraged and upset by our experiences there, and gabbed about it endlessly. We talked about writing our own book and publishing it elsewhere. Marilynn Byerly took on the project and corralled, prompted, organized and encouraged us throughout the process. She collected the individual stories, massaged them, formatted them into book format and shouldered the job of submitting the collection, under another title, to various publishing houses. And luckily for us, ImaJInn took us on!
