I missed the RT Convention in Kansas City this year, but
the Romantic Times Magazine's 19th Booklovers Convention in
Reno, NV from October 22 - 27, 2002 was a blast! It was wonderful to meet
so many fans, and to those of you who introduced yourself and told
me which of my books you liked, a most grateful "Thank you!"
While I was in Reno, I had the pleasure of lunching with my publishers at
Beagle Bay Books who will
be publishing my time travel, Promises on the Wind.
You may recall this novel was previously published electronically by
Hard Shell Word Factory. Beagle Bay will bring it out, expanded and slightly
revised, as a trade paperback in early summer 2004. To quote the publishers:
This remarkable book is both an historical romance with fiery love scenes and
an off-beat, thoroughly-researched historical novel guaranteed to capture your heart.
We're talking about a book tour along the route of the California
Trail through Nevada. Sounds like fun!
I'm thrilled to rejoin the
Red Sage Publishing family with a new novella. This one is a bit
different than my two previous stories. It's contemporary rather than
set in the Regency period, and to quote the publisher, Alexandria Kendall,
it's romantic and wonderfully hot! Look for Flights of Fantasy in
Volume 9, due out in 2003.
Hope my Regency fans won't be disappointed that this novella isn't set in the
Regency period, but rumor has it that there
may be another one in the works. For a preview of this super sexy contemporary,
check out this short excerpt. Tell me what you think. Want more?
